HGV 2 Dust Cart Driver

Accelerate Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for an experienced Category C / Class 2 Dustcart Driver within the Norwich area.

Our client is a well-established international waste management company seeking reliable and professional drivers to join their growing workforce on an ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work, early starts, and the chance to work with an experienced refuse collection team.

As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles across domestic and residential routes throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. You will work alongside a team of refuse loaders to ensure waste collections are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This position involves:

• Driving Category C / Class 2 dustcart vehicles
• Carrying out residential waste and recycling collections
• Working closely with a crew of refuse loaders
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
• Providing professional and courteous service while working within local communities

Shift Pattern

• Early morning starts
• Mid-afternoon finishes
• Ongoing assignments available
• Flexible working patterns to suit individual availability

Accelerate Personnel work closely with all drivers to provide flexibility and accommodate preferred working hours wherever possible.

Applicants must hold:

• Full UK Driving Licence with valid Category C entitlement
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Previous dustcart or refuse collection experience is advantageous but not essential.
