HGV 1 Driver

Accelerate Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established general haulage client for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers based in the East Attleborough area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable company operating modern, high-spec Class 1 vehicles. This role involves tramping work, and drivers will be required to stay out in the truck throughout the working week

Job Role:

• General haulage work
• Driving modern, well-maintained Class 1 vehicles
• Completing vehicle checks prior to departure
• Following planned routes and completing all required paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service throughout your shift.

Drivers will be expected to maintain communication with the client throughout the day where required and return all paperwork and keys at the end of each shift.

We work closely with our drivers to offer flexibility and accommodate shifts and hours that suit your availability.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E (Class 1) entitlement
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills and a professional approach

What We Offer:

• £14.25 per hour
• Minimum 10 hours guaranteed pay per day
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (paid)
