Drivers Mate

Accelerate Personnel is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Drivers Mate to support our client with two-person delivery operations across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, travelling, and being part of a professional delivery team.

As a Drivers Mate, you will work alongside an experienced driver as part of a two-person crew, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods to both domestic and commercial customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the delivery and collection of furniture and other goods nationwide
• Supporting the driver with route navigation and delivery coordination
• Carrying out heavy lifting as part of daily duties
• Assisting with the assembly of products where required (training will be provided)
• Delivering a high standard of customer service at each delivery point
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and professionally

We are seeking motivated individuals who are dependable, physically capable, and customer-focused. The ideal candidate will have:

• Own transport (essential due to location and varying start times)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A strong work ethic and willingness to undertake manual handling duties
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role or furniture assembly is advantageous but not essential

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed pay per day
