Class 1 Driver

Accelerate Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Driver to deliver construction and plant equipment across the United Kingdom.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.

Job Role
• Deliver and collect construction and plant equipment nationwide
• Conduct daily vehicle and trailer checks in line with company procedures
• Accurately complete all paperwork and digital records
• Ensure full compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner at customer sites

Salary & Benefits
• £42,000 per year (depending on experience)

Requirements
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Proven experience transporting construction or plant equipment
• Strong knowledge of load security and safe transport procedures
• Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks
• Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
• HIAB or plant machinery experience desirable (but not essential)
